Dash's Pedigree

 

Her nickname is "The clown".
Whatever she did,
she always made us laugh.
When she wants, she can hold
her two ears straight up,
but most of the time,
she let one of them flip to the side.
She probably figured out
that it looks funnier that way.

One day, as she was playing in the yard with one of her buddies,
she was having so much fun running
that she never realized
that she was too close to the house
and ran right through the kitchen window.
We had to rush her to the emergency room to suture her arteries.
Once the situation was under control,
we could not help thinking
that it could have only happened to her.

Dash now lives in Sherbrooke, Quebec, with a family with kids,
where she is still playing the role of "The clown".
Her favorite sport is to take the toys that  the kids leave around
and to bring them in her hiding place in the basement.
She is trying to built a treasure chest with her findings.
